Canesten 3 vaginal cream is used to treat genital infections (vaginitis) caused by fungi (mostly Capdida) and superinfections with clotrimazole-sensitive bacteria. Packaging: tube with 20 g of vaginal cream and 3 applicators
Use: You should use the medicine as prescribed in the instructions (unless the doctor determines otherwise). If you are not sure, please consult your doctor or pharmacist. If you do not follow the instructions, the medicine will not work properly. Insert the vaginal cream as deeply as possible into the vagina, at night before going to bed. You will achieve this best if you lie on your back, with your legs slightly bent. For the treatment of vaginal infections: empty the contents of 1 applicator (approximately 5 g) into the vagina every night for 3 consecutive days. For the treatment of candidal vulvitis and candidal balanitis, apply the cream in a thin layer by rubbing on the affected areas, 2 to 3 times a day (external sex organs to the anus in women, head and foreskin in men). Treatment is usually 1 to 2 weeks. You should not use the therapy during menstruation. It should end before the start of menstruation. You should not use tampons, intravaginal douches, spermicides, or other vaginal products while using this product.
