Biocosmetic effect: Alpha hydroxyl acids (AHA-Alpha Hydroxyl Acids) exfoliate the keratinized layer of the epidermis, stimulate skin regeneration and synthesis of collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid and ceramides. They moisturize the skin, increase firmness and elasticity, maintain its youthful appearance, brighten it and provide antioxidant protection.

As soon as they enter the intercellular space, alpha hydroxyl acids destroy protein desmosomal bridges between cells, weaken the adhesion (sticking) of corneocytes that are horizontal to each other and to the basic layers of the epidermis. This leads to a reduction in the compactness of the stratum corneum, faster movement of keratinocytes to the surface and effective exfoliation of keratinized non-nuclear cells. In this way, the thickness of the stratum corneum is reduced and the process of differentiation and renewal of the epidermis is stimulated. Additionally, causing accelerated exfoliation of the stratum corneum, alpha hydroxyl acids can stimulate the formation of signaling molecules (cytokines), which are responsible for activating and implementing pro- and anti-inflammatory reactions of the entire organism.

Hyaluronic acid is a typical polysaccharide, required to maintain a normal water balance in human skin, which keeps the skin hydrated for a longer period.

Indications (intended for): Rough, problematic, oily skin, prone to inflammation and comedones; aging skin.

Contraindications: Damaged, thinned, hypersensitive skin surface, allergic rashes. Individual intolerance of product components.

Side effects: With excessive or too frequent use, redness, dryness and skin irritations are possible.
