INGREDIENTS: honey, beeswax (Cera alba); glycerol. oil extracts from plant species: aerial part of yarrow (Achillea millefolium L.), sage leaf (Sativa officinalis L.), plantain leaf (Plantago major L.), oak bark (Quercus robur L.), olive leaf (Olea europaea L.), calendula flower (Calendula officinalis L.), chamomile flower (Matricaria chamolilla L.), aerial part of the reed (Polygonum aviculare L.); essential oil from Australian teas (Melaleuca altenifiolia), frankincense (Timus vulgaris ct. thymol) and oregano (Origanum vulgare). INDICATIONS: Bioapifit ointment against hemorrhoids is indicated for alleviating:
rectal bleeding,
itching and irritation in the anal region,
swelling in the region of the anus,
pain,
discomfort during defecation.
PURPOSE: Bioapifit anti-hemorrhoid ointment is intended for the relief of associated symptoms
with hemorrhoids, fissures, pruritus ani, and other anorectal conditions, such as bleeding from
rectum, itching and irritation in the anal region, swelling in the anus region, and pain and discomfort
during defecation.
METHOD OF ACTION: Bioapifit ointment against hemorrhoids is a class IIa medicinal product, which
relieves symptoms associated with hemorrhoids, fissures, pruritus ani and other non-infectious ones
anorectal difficulties, with physical action on the mucosa in the perianal and rectal region.
Physical parameters such as low pH (due to the presence of honey and macerate), high osmolarity
/low water activity (due to the presence of honey), high viscosity, fat (due to
the presence of macerate, glycerin and beeswax), as well as a lubricating effect (due to the presence
of honey, macerates and glycerin). Bioapifit ointment against hemorrhoids results in the relief of
symptoms of hemorrhoids such as bleeding, itching, irritation and pain due to:
creation of a protective layer on the damaged perianal and rectal mucosa, which allows
its healing and prevention of further irritation; creating an unfavorable
environment for the growth and reproduction of pathogens (low pH, high osmolarity, low activity of
water, coating effect); relief of pain and discomfort during defecation
due to the lubrication effect.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: None known.
PRECAUTIONS: Do not use Bioapifit ointment against hemorrhoids if you are pregnant and if
you are breastfeeding. Recommended daily dose must not be exceeded. Do not use in case of
hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product.
DOSAGE AND METHOD OF USE: To alleviate the symptoms of external hemorrhoids,
apply the ointment for 10 days 3-4 times a day on a clean and dry perianal region. For rectal
application put the applicator on the tube, and then put the applicator in the rectum and
press the tube to distribute the ointment evenly on the painful area. After use
immediately remove the applicator from the tube and close the tube with the cap. The applicator thoroughly
