COMPOSITION: One vaginal 3 g contains: hydrogenated coco-glycerides (Whitepsol E75); beeswax (Cera
alba); macerate from plant species: calendula flower (Calendula officinalis L.), broadleaf tree leaf
(Plantago major L.), chamomile flower (Matricaria chamomilla L.), lavender flower (Lavandula officinalis L.),
aerial part of yarrow (Achillea millefolium L.), sage (Salvia officinalis L.), leaf and stem of yarrow
(Alchemilla vulgaris L.); Australian tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) essential oil, frankincense (Thymus
vulgaris kt. Thymol) and oregano (Origanum vulgare).
INDICATIONS: Bioapigin vaginalettes are indicated for:
Raised vaginal pH
Vaginal discharge
Unpleasant vaginal odor
Irritations, burning, itching, edema in the region of the vulva and vagina
Vaginal dryness
dyspareunia
PURPOSE: Bioapigyn® vaginalettes are intended for women over 18 years of age, of reproductive age and those in
menopause/postmenopause to relieve the symptoms of vulvo-vaginal disorders caused by
increase in vaginal pH, with characteristic vaginal discharge, vaginal dryness, dyspareunia,
unpleasant vaginal odor, irritation, burning, itching, as well as edema of the vulvo-vaginal area.
ACTION: Bioapigyn® vaginalettes are a class II-a medicinal product, which alleviate the symptoms of
vulvo-vaginal disorders, exclusively with a physical mode of action. The physical properties of
the complex mixture of ingredients including low pH (macerate), high viscosity and fat, (macerate
and hydrogenated coco-glycerides), emollient and coating action (macerate, hydrogenated
coco-glycerides and wax), as well as low water activity (macerate, hydrogenated coco-glycerides and
wax) result in alleviating the symptoms of vulvo-vaginal disorders due to:
Creation of a protective layer on the vaginal mucosa, enabling its recovery and prevention
of further irritation,
Alleviation of vaginal dryness due to the presence of emollients,
Prevention of pain during intercourse, as a lubricating action and creation of a protective layer,
Creation of unfavorable conditions for growth, adhesion and replication of pathogens
PACKAGING: each package contains 10 vaginalettes of 3 grams in a blister
CONTRAINDICATIONS: None known
PRECAUTIONS: Do not use Bioapigyn® vaginalettes if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The recommended one
daily dose must not be exceeded. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients
the product. Do not use the product if the original packaging is damaged or opened. Avoid
eye contact. Do not eat them, do not swallow them. In case of ingestion contact your doctor. In case of
accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
DOSAGE AND METHOD OF USE: Bioapigyn vaginalettes are intended for vaginal use only.
Separate both sides of the foil at the top and remove the vaginalette with clean hands. Use it
finger to insert the vagina into the vagina. Use one vaginalette daily, preferably before
sleep for 10 days in a row. The maximum permitted length of use is 20 days in a row.
