– Latin name – Thymus serpyllum
- Preparation of tea: pour 1 to 2 teaspoons (2 g) with 200 ml of boiled water, leave the container covered for 10 minutes and strain.
- Chemical composition: Contains up to 0.6% essential oil, about 7% tannins, flavonoids, bitter substances, phenyl-carboxylic acids.
– Use: used for expectoration, inflammation of the airways and as an antiseptic.
-Method of storage: in a dry place, not to be exposed to direct sunlight.
