Chymolit forte tablets contain a combination of the enzymes trypsin and chymotrypsin, which belong to the group of the most important proteolytic enzymes. They are intended for people with reduced production of these enzymes. They are also recommended with antibiotic therapy because they improve their penetration or alone to reduce the recovery period after injuries, traumas accompanied by hematoma, swellings and inflammations. Chymolit forte tablets reduce the swelling caused by abscesses, ulcers, surgery and facilitate the expulsion of mucus in asthma, bronchitis, lung diseases and sinus diseases. The gastro-resistant tablet form ensures that the proteolytic enzymes are not degraded in the small intestine when taken orally, where absorption occurs. They should not be crushed or chewed.
