The Portuguese company NEOSANTÈ HEALTH SOLUTIONS SA is a pharmaceutical company that produces innovative and high-quality products that improve the quality of life of people around the world. Celsis works particularly in the field of pediatrics, with an emphasis on infant nutrition and OTC products. One of the original products is the dietary supplement containing lactase enzyme - ColiPrev®, in the form of drops. It is available on the Macedonian market as a package of 15 ml Modern recombinant technology ColiPrev® is a biotechnological product, manufactured with GMP certified production. Only manufacturers who comply with the strict conditions of good manufacturing practice have a GMP certificate. It is a document that confirms that the manufacturer meets the strict criteria applied in the production and control of drugs, medical devices or nutritional supplements. Only high-quality and proven manufacturers of pharmacologically active substances are selected, especially those of plant origin. These active substances are further checked in our own laboratory, guaranteeing their properties in accordance with the text on the packaging of the final product. In other words, the GMP certificate guarantees that the food supplement you have chosen is produced under strictly controlled production conditions and that the product cannot be contaminated in any way. Natural preparation ColiPrev® consists only of natural ingredients, the enzyme lactase is its main component. Composition: 56.9% lactase, 25% glycerol, 17.2% water, 0.9% stabilizer - potassium chloride. Lactase Enzyme Highly active lactase enzyme extracted from Aspergillus oryzae, which is a source of biologically active lactase, stable even in stomach acid pH environment. Why ColiPrev®? The use of the enzyme lactase, found in the nutritional supplement ColiPrev®, is supported by several clinical studies that show a transient lactase deficiency as a possible cause of colic in babies, with difficulty for the digestive system to digest lactose. Lactase is a natural enzyme found in the small intestine. This enzyme helps digest lactose, which is the main sugar in cow's milk. Lactase hydrolyzes lactose - it splits into two simple sugars - glucose and galactose, so that these simple carbohydrates are easily absorbed in the intestines. Colostrum is a basic part of the baby's diet, and many babies temporarily suffer from insufficient production of the enzyme lactase, the aforementioned lactose intolerance, which is associated with infantile colic, ie. colic in babies. Undigested lactose passing through the intestines causes tension, stomach cramps and diarrhea. Adding the enzyme lactase to milk prevents these symptoms, so if colic in the baby is caused by insufficient production of lactase, it will be significantly reduced or stopped immediately, after adding the nutritional supplement ColiPrev® to the milk or milk formula. Recommended dosage When the mother is breastfeeding - before breastfeeding, the appropriate amount of drops is dripped into a clean or pre-sterilized spoon and given directly into the child's mouth (follow the instructions in the dosage table in the package). Who uses the adapted formula - the appropriate amount of drops (according to the instructions of the dosage table) is dripped into the previously prepared milk formula. ColiPrev® should be used exclusively when feeding the child, especially in the first 3-4 months of life, when the amount of lactase produced in the baby's digestive system is not sufficient.
