The night I met Drew, my new office had been broken into. I called the police and then attacked him with my newly acquired martial arts. He resisted me easily and then laughed because apparently he found my attempted attack comical. Very clearly the intruder must have been arrogant. Only, it turned out that he was not an intruder at all. Drew actually owned the space. He was on vacation during the renovation of his luxury offices. So I fell for it, leasing a busy office space from a scammer and lost ten thousand. The next day, after a few hours at the police station, Drew made me an offer I couldn't refuse. He offered to stay in the offices until I found a new space, in exchange for answering his phone calls while his secretary was on vacation. I probably should have been grateful and kept my mouth shut when I listened to him give advice to his clients. But I didn't expect my body to react like that every time we argued. Especially since we were arguing the whole time. We were totally different. Drew was a bitter, angry, damn sexy relationship wrecker. And I helped people save their marriages. The only thing we had in common was the space we shared. And a fatal attraction that was getting harder to ignore with each passing day.
