Sentanasal nasal spray contains xylometazoline, hydrochloride and dexpanthenol. Xylometazoline hydrochloride rapidly constricts the blood vessels in the nasal mucosa and reduces the swelling of the nasal mucosa and the secretion of secretions. In this way, the feeling of stuffy nose is reduced. Decpanthenol is a derivative of the vitamin pantothenic acid that enables healing and protects the nasal mucosa.
