Many enthusiasts claim that zucchini was first cultivated by Native Americans more than 8,000 years ago. As early as 2,000 BC, sunflowers were cultivated using methods that encouraged larger seeds and a richer crop. The Indians used it as a diuretic.
It was considered a staple in the Native American diet at the time European explorers first visited the Americas.
Cold pressed sunflower oil is produced by simply pressing sunflower seeds in a specially designed press, where the temperature must not rise above 45°C. The cold pressing process is a very simple extraction method to squeeze the oil, without the application of heat or chemical solvents (ie without refining the product) resulting in so-called pure oils, where the oils retain all their flavor, aroma and nutritional value.
This oil has a light yellow to rich golden color, which depends on the properties of the seed.
Therefore, it provides more vitamin E than any other vegetable oil, which acts as an antioxidant that positively affects the human body.
