Organic Ghee Butter is a traditional clarified cow's butter well known in South Asian cuisine. "Ghee" butter is obtained by melting ordinary cow's butter. Butter is separated into liquid fat, milk solids and impurities. Once separated, the milk solids and impurities are removed, leaving only the pure fat. Ghee butter has an amber color and a nutty taste, with a soft texture that is easy to apply.
Main features :
- "Ghee" butter contains a little milk protein, which is a strong allergen. This makes the butter suitable for consumption by people sensitive to lactose and casein.
- This butter is resistant to heat treatment because it has a high smoking point (250 °C). It can be used for deep frying and high temperature cooking.
- Butter can be a good addition to many diets - keto, paleo, gluten-free and other diets.
Recommended use : You can use it as regular butter on toast, sandwiches or for cooking. Ghee butter is still used in Ayurvedic massage and as a base for treating burns and rashes.
Storage : Store in a cool and dry place. Once opened, it is stored in the refrigerator and consumed for up to 2 months.
Composition : Cow's butter*.
