Isabelle is a patient housed within the walls of the high-security Cromont Children's Psychiatric Center, where there are no boundaries between reality and imagination. Seven years ago, six-year-old Macy's lifeless body was found with a symbol engraved on her back. The body was found not far from Isabel's family home, in the duck pond. Isabelle was found in that fateful place – covered in Macy's blood and convicted of murder, and she is serving her sentence in the most rigorous psychiatric facility under the supervision of nurse Leah. After Leah is assigned as Isabelle's nurse, she is determined to remain professional despite the shocking crime Isabelle allegedly committed in her past. As Leah spends more and more time with Isabelle, she gets to know her as a young and innocent girl, someone she could never see as a murderer. But she is not the only one who casts doubt on the mystery surrounding the little patient. An internet site for crime addicts has been created where many confirm the same suspicion – Isabelle was unjustly convicted. But does Lea's painful past make her misjudgment as she gets closer and closer to the patient? Or was a child unfairly deprived of his childhood?
