Some doors are locked for a reason... As eleven-year-old Nora Davis writes homework in her upstairs room, she can't help but notice that her father is murdering women in the basement of the family home. Until the day the police knock on their door. After several decades, her father spends the rest of his life behind bars, and Nora is a successful surgeon and leads a quiet, withdrawn life. No one knows that her father was a notorious serial killer and she intends to keep it that way forever. But she soon learns that one of her young patients has been murdered – in the same gruesome way her father killed his victims. Someone knows who Nora is. Someone wants to frame her for the murder. But she is not a killer like her father. The police have no evidence against her. Until they looked into her basement.
